Michael & Joanna Chang, Founders
Michael and Joanna started the company in 1976 importing billiards equipment and sporting goods from Taiwan. They have built a reputation as pioneers in opening up factories in Taiwan and China to the U.S. They have an intimate knowledge of the inner workings of international trade, from the factory floors to corporate boardrooms.
Both were born in mainland China and lived in Taiwan for many years before emigrating to the U.S. in the early 70’s. They have a son and a daughter, who have taken over the reigns of Source-1. Their guidance remains invaluable in navigating today’s business environment.
Jason Chang, President & CEO
Jason took over the company in 1999 and spearheads all of its operations. He has over 20 years of experience in working with businesses and manufacturers all over Asia. As the head of Source-1, he works directly with the company’s clients in the U.S. and abroad as well as their factories in the Far East.
A multiple marathon and triathlon finisher, Jason enjoys an active, energetic lifestyle. He lives in L.A.’s South Bay with his wife and children.
Patricia Scott, CFO
Patricia heads up the financial management side of the company. She takes care of all the crucial documentation and analysis necessary to streamline the company’s operations.
Patricia received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California. She has over 18 years of experience in both public and private sectors.
